Something New and Wonderful:

Provider Gardens’ vegetable crop is now growing at Owl Creek Farm.

However, Provider Gardens is a separate operation, the result of a collaborative
venture  between Evan Anderson and Sven Verlinden.  Their vegetables, fruits, herbs,
and flowers will be available to subscribers to their Community Supported Agriculture
(CSA).

What is a CSA?  It is an arrangement between families who eat and producers who
grow that creates a direct link between the two.  Families will buy a share for the
season.  In return, they receive a weekly abundant “market basket” overflowing with
seasonal treats from June through October.

Shareholders will know exactly how their food is grown (they can even come and see it
grow) and can be confident that it is grown in a sustainable and healthy manner.
Their vegetables and herbs will be freshly picked; they will not have been shipped
hundreds of miles by truck or sit for days in a supermarket display.
